Vincent Galand worked in Professor Donoghue's lab for approximately 5 months studying the interactions between two human proteins, Spy1 and Rif1, and their role in regulating DNA damage checkpoints in breast cancer cells. He demonstrated excellent intellectual skills, the ability to learn new techniques quickly, and dedication. His project exploring whether Spy1 and Rif1 colocalize at sites of DNA damage was technically challenging but he showed great patience, perseverance, and attention to detail. Based on his performance compared to other graduate applicants and students, Professor Donoghue believes Vincent has significant talent and promise and will be successful in future endeavors.

Over 44 hospitals and over 1,000 trainees have participated from 2012-2014. FINAL DEFENSE - ANIMATION BASED FOR ICT TRACK
This study assessed the impact of animation-based learning on grade 2 elementary pupils in Silay Institute, Philippines. 18 students participated in the study. Results found animation had a high impact on both knowledge transfer and learning motivation. Learning motivation had the highest impact. There was no significant difference found between age or sex groups. The study concluded animation-based learning allows teachers to easily explain complex topics and enables students to better understand subjects. It recommended schools utilize these findings to improve pedagogical innovations using animation-based learning. A project proposal for a 3-day animation workshop for teachers was also included.

The teacher will teach the months of the year to a 1st grade special education class of 10 boys and 7 girls over 1.5 weeks. 70% of the students are white, 20% African American, and 10% Hispanic. Seven students have ADHD. The objective is for students to recite the months with 90% accuracy using videos, PowerPoints, songs, games and art projects about each month's seasons and holidays. Students will be evaluated every other day and at the end to recite months in order and create their own calendar.
