objectives. It serves as the guide in planning,
organizing and implementing the goals of the
project. A project is an undertaking with specific
start and end parameters designed to produce a
defined outcome, such as a new computer system.
6. DEFINING PROJECT GOALS –
the main task in this phase
is to set clear project goals
and objectives that are
SMART ( SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE,
ATTRACTIVE, REALISTIC,
and TIME-BOUND).
7. • PLANNING – Planning is key. The successful implementation and closure of a
project depends on the kind of planning that Underwent prior to its beginning. Action
items, desired results, and how to achieve them must be clearly defined from the
beginning of the project all the way.
8. IMPLEMENTATION
This phase involves detailing how a plan is executed and how changes can be
done in cases where it is necessary to do so. Documentation of all the works, its
results, special incidents, tough decisions, major and minor changes, etc. should be
done at all times for future reference.

• Project closure signifies the end of the project, Every closure involves post
evaluation of all the processes that it went through to conclude whether the project
was a failure or success.
