UPDATING WEBSITE CONTENT
A regular updated website content is essential to
potential clients and visitors especially for those who are
engaged in online business or uses the website as an
information sharing tool. Also, it makes search engine
index your site often which gives you more chances to
rank for more terms. Updating website content means
putting the most relevant and up to date information
based of its objectives and nature.
The following tips may be considered for updating your
website content:
Define and set up goals (Conversation)
Content inventory to identify updates
Performance analysis
Collect user feedback
Create a content plan
Update/replace old content and add new content
HOW TO COLLECT USER FEEDBACK
Online surveys and feedback forms are the most
widely used way to collect user feedback.
There are plenty of plat forms that can be use to
gather this feedback for free.
CREATING AN ONLINE SURVEY WITH GOOGLE
FORMS
Today ,Google forms is a very popular way of collecting
feedback because it offers free and easy to create
survey and feedback forms. You can create a form from
Google drive from an existing spreadsheet that can
record the responses to your form.
1.You need to have a Google account to maximize this
feature.
2.Sign up for a new Google new account or sign in with
your Google account.
3.Go to docs.google.com/forms or to drive.google.com.
4.Click on the plus sign to create a new or blank form.
5.This will create a new Google form and take you in the
form editor.
6.In the form editor, you can change or modified the
title,discription,questions and question format.
7.In creating a question,there are nine available question
formats in Google forms that you can choose from
namely: short answer, paragraph, multiple choice,
checkbox, drop down, linear scale, multiple choice
grid, or date and time.
8.After customizing your Google form, you might want
to share it to the respondents.
VIEWING RESPONSES IN GOOGLE FORMS
1.View responses by question.
2.View responses by person.
3.View responses in spreadsheet.
4.View responses as a CSV file.
TO VIEW RESPONSES BY QUESTION
1.Open a form in Google form.
2.At the top of the form, click responses.
3.Click summary.
TO VIEW RESPONSES BY A PERSON
See answer by person or, if you allowed people to
submit the form more than once, by submission
1.Open a form in a Google form.
2. At the top of the form, click responses.
3.Click individual.
4.To move between responses, click previous or next.
TO VIEW RESPONSES IN A SPREADSHEET
1.Open a form in a Google forms.
2. At the top of a form, click responses.
3. At the top right, click spreadsheet.
TO DOWNLOAD RESPONSES AS A CSV FILE
1.Open a form in a Google form.
2.At the top of the form, click responses.
3.Click more > download responses <

  • 4. A regular updated website content is essential to potential clients and visitors especially for those who are engaged in online business or uses the website as an information sharing tool. Also, it makes search engine index your site often which gives you more chances to rank for more terms. Updating website content means putting the most relevant and up to date information based of its objectives and nature.
  • 5. The following tips may be considered for updating your website content: Define and set up goals (Conversation) Content inventory to identify updates Performance analysis Collect user feedback Create a content plan Update/replace old content and add new content
  • 6. HOW TO COLLECT USER FEEDBACK Online surveys and feedback forms are the most widely used way to collect user feedback. There are plenty of plat forms that can be use to gather this feedback for free.
  • 7. CREATING AN ONLINE SURVEY WITH GOOGLE FORMS Today ,Google forms is a very popular way of collecting feedback because it offers free and easy to create survey and feedback forms. You can create a form from Google drive from an existing spreadsheet that can record the responses to your form. 1.You need to have a Google account to maximize this feature. 2.Sign up for a new Google new account or sign in with your Google account. 3.Go to docs.google.com/forms or to drive.google.com. 4.Click on the plus sign to create a new or blank form.
  • 8. 5.This will create a new Google form and take you in the form editor. 6.In the form editor, you can change or modified the title,discription,questions and question format. 7.In creating a question,there are nine available question formats in Google forms that you can choose from namely: short answer, paragraph, multiple choice, checkbox, drop down, linear scale, multiple choice grid, or date and time. 8.After customizing your Google form, you might want to share it to the respondents.
  • 9. VIEWING RESPONSES IN GOOGLE FORMS 1.View responses by question. 2.View responses by person. 3.View responses in spreadsheet. 4.View responses as a CSV file. TO VIEW RESPONSES BY QUESTION 1.Open a form in Google form. 2.At the top of the form, click responses. 3.Click summary.
  • 10. TO VIEW RESPONSES BY A PERSON See answer by person or, if you allowed people to submit the form more than once, by submission 1.Open a form in a Google form. 2. At the top of the form, click responses. 3.Click individual. 4.To move between responses, click previous or next. TO VIEW RESPONSES IN A SPREADSHEET 1.Open a form in a Google forms. 2. At the top of a form, click responses. 3. At the top right, click spreadsheet.

TO DOWNLOAD RESPONSES AS A CSV FILE 1.Open a form in a Google form. 2.At the top of the form, click responses. 3.Click more > download responses < IMPORTANCE OF COLLECTING USER FEEDBACK Users are the one who directly interact with your website or ICT project.
