2. Our Soundtrack
– Our music was produced on Garageband, by Nathaniel.
– We wished to create an up beat, happy track including harsh drum beats that are
irresistible to move to, and fast, catchy tunes within the track, to get the audience in
the mood for the song.
– We were so helpfully inspired by our favourite teen musical, Hairspray, due to the
up beat, catchy tracks, putting the audience in a cheerful, joyful mood for the
remainder of the film.
– By being inspired by this soundtrack, it has made our track immensely conventional
and fitting regarding our genre, this being Teen Musicals.
– Nathaniel and I wrote the song, combining our ideas and carefully devising a lyrically
strong song.
3. Sound Effects
– Some unintentional, yet successful sound effects were present in the one scene
without music playing. These sound effects were the crunching of gravel
beneath our feet as Cecil and I (Elizabeth) approached one another.
– Due to the fact that our opening sequence is based on the genre teen musicals,
we did not focus specifically on putting sound effects in, as they would’ve
possibly drawn the focus away from the track we created.
