About Time is a British romantic film revolving around time travel where a young man tries
to change his past to have a better future.The film was written and directed by Richard
Curtis and was released in the United Kingdom on 4th September 2013 and in the United
States on 1 November 2013.

The film About Time was produced by Working Title Films. Working Title Films is a British
film company which produces feature films and many television productions. The company
is owned by Universal Studios and was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983.
Working Title Films is located in London but also has other offices placed in Los Angeles and
Ireland. The company has produced popular films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral and
Shaun of the Dead.

One of the main cast members is Rachel Anne McAdamswho plays Mary. She initially worked
in Canadian television and film productions such as ‘My Name Is Tanino’ and ‘Perfect Pie’.
She also starred in the teen comedy film Mean Girls in 2004 and Wedding Crashers in 2005.
Domhnall Gleeson also stars in the film and plays the role of Time Lake. In 2006 he received
a Tony Award nomination for his involvement in the Broadway production ‘The Lieutenant
of Inishmore’.
Lastly, the role of Tim’s dad is played by Bill Nighy also known as William Francis Nighy. He worked in
theatre and television before his first cinema role in 1981 and first appeared in the television show
‘The Men’s Room’ in 1991. He became well known from his performance in the film Love Actually
and involvement in the films Lawless Heart, Capture the Castle and Shaun of the Dead.

The film was distributed by Universal Studios with a much smaller marketing budget of $12 million
compared to the award winning American film The Hunger Games. The film’s premiere was in
London on the 8th August 2013. It was later released in the UK on the 4th September 2013. The DVD
was released earlier this year on the 3rd February 2014.

the sequel as an ‘international screen sensation’. The telegraph also described the film in
