My Pitch for directing a music video

1. Conventions :
Example 1
It's based upon a club and the band would be playing
live preference, to create the “monstrous” vibe in the
club.
It will also have shots that are creating a metaphor
around the lyrics presented by the artist.
Example 2
It's based upon a house party close to the beach. And
the people that are having the “Housey” are casting the
band online in their house. So everyone that enjoys
music like that are going over to have fun time. The
video is going to be something like a short story before

2. Synopsis :
Creating a story board to view how the music
video will be presented for the public.
I can't find my story board to put it on the presentation but most of it
looked like the photos you see in the 5th page (Imagery)

3. Runtime: The video clip will be about 5 min long, because it’s
the average time they have spent recording most of their clips.
I will want to record for at least 5 hours a day, to make sure I
have enough data and my team is comfortable editing and
mastering the full video. Me as a person, I always want at least 3
videos of the same scene being the best as possible so I can
choose of 3 videos and create enough comfort to create more
and more in the editing room.

4. Cast: People that will appear in the video will
be the band and also the actors, because the
beginning scene will be similar to a back story.
Acting Cast: I would be overwhelmed and worried
With having crazy popular cast in a music video.
So I won't do that, I will search new upcoming "popping"
Actors to create a welcoming balance for new and old fans

5. Imagery: Main scenes will be black and
white while one of the singer's sings,
To represent similarities to “blues” music.
Because she has that singing style.
Second scenes will also be black and white
So it continues the story telling in the clip,
With the same manor.
Imagery: Crazy edits / color will come to
Appear when the 2nd drop of the song happens
Or maybe throw the bridge as a fade in effect .
It will continue with the same "schedule" throughout

6. Schedule: the schedule will be up to 2 Months recording.
Mainly to cover all the areas needing to travel will be 2
weeks, because I Wait it to be up to 3 different locations.
The time will be mainly to make the set and everyone to
be capable to understand their actor roles.
Budget: With most of the stuff happening at 4 places that
are very close but also in the convenient location that I
wanted them. Money won't be a major issue for
cast/extras, but there will be high value of money spend
for the edits department as they are going to be above
average/capable edits that I want to have in this song.

7. Location Summery: Main locations will be setup studios, To create the setting of a bar place, and stage Similar to preforming a
gig. Another location Will be exotic location, bringing out the summer Setting in the music. And last location will be studio.
First Location : It will be a shot of a
pub/ bar place while its empty. Then it
will turn into a black screen and after
that it will show all the cast upon the
stage dancing and preforming the song.
Second Location : It will be a shot of
where is being preformed and how the
crowd reacts and joins in the music.
Third Location : Will be in the studio,
the actors and cast will have suites on
that are tracked by the camera to
create a 3D animation and masking.
Main Location : It will be the studio, as
many things will be done and directed
to know exactly what to do on set.

9. Release date & platforms: The video will be main streamed
On YouTube / Insta , it will be presented on social media too.
Such as advertising it to get more views. Also for the fans to see
it too.
The music will be updated to the video version too, in platforms
Such as sound cloud and Spotify. Because these platforms have
only the audio as it’s a stream service .
Release date & platforms 2 Idea : The video will include cuts of
other videos and music coming up. It will be like a presentation
of newer music towards there platform. And the release date
will be decided by the directors and the managing team.
It will make sure that fans will know who is featured and if
major casts are involved. Then the label will give money
or make sure that the casts promote/tell their fans that they
will be in a music video / song.

10. Marketing Idea 1: The marketing will mainly be
promoted on social media so it's easier to access
and be able
To see small ”teasers” before the full video clip is
Out on YouTube and man more platforms.
Marketing Idea 2: The marketing part will also be
mainly Taken over at social media, with the team
that does that, or it can simply be uploaded at
once on the date called. By the director and the
producers
Marketing Idea 3: I will want marketing to be done
by major labels and to be on build boards. The
marketing team will probably already have payed
YouTube to create 5 second add of the music that
is un-skippable and give 2X the normal value of ad

what's going on, so it would be something
similar with the video

probably be a date when the video
will be dropped on Youtube and

11. Why is your idea the best? I think it’s the best, because it's simple and very logical but also that’s what "new"
age producers and Artists do. They use social media to present the music and then to club together their views
and fans on the video. The production is also simple, everything's is planned and not will waste no time, make
Sure everything is how the artist likes it and over all to have fun time. Because if you don’t have fun on set then
the video probably won't do well, I want the artist To enjoy him/herself but also create something that a non-fan
will like and make sure to turn into a fan
