INT KITCHEN DAY
A very messy kitchen, dull lighting with pots and pans all
over the place. Cans and containers are also seen. In the
middle of all this mess sat at a kitchen table is BOOT a 12
year old white lade wearing a school uniform. He is crouched
over a textbook with pen and paper to his side.
A radio plays in the background
Boot starts to write down notes on a piece of paper. He is
clearly working hard.

EXT HOUSE DAY
A housing estate, overcast day, the sound of traffic can be
heard.
RAFE
nah man i cant tonight, have to look
after my brother..
Rafe a tall lad, 19 years old wearing a builders suit (high
vis vest and cargo trousers) walks towards the door of a
terraced house in an estate. He has some grease stains on his
clothes and hands. He looks rough
yeah yeah in a bit ends call.

INT KITCHEN DAY
RAFE enters the kitchen, Boot immediately looks up from his
work and carefully observes RAFE who does not seem to notice
him.
RAFE opens the fridge and pulls out a bear. He closes the
fridge door and takes a bag of Crisps out of his pocket and
flings them toward boot

RAFE moves towards the kitchen table, places his bear on it
and pulls out a cigarette. He places the pack on the table
and lights up.

RAFE gets his phone out and starts to check his messages
BOOT

RAFE ignores Boot and moves towards the kitchen window.
BOOT quickly reaches for the cigarette packet and pulls out a
cigarette. Boot starts to mimic his brother smoking
RAFE turns around, boot quickly hides his cigarette. Rafe
comes to the kitchen table picks up his bear and cigarettes
and leaves the kitchen

INT. KITCHEN. DAY
Rafe enters the Kitchen. He has changed into his Jeans and a
shirt looking quite smart.
The sound of a lighter can be heard and Rafe immediately
turns towards the window which is lsioghtly open.
He slowly moves toward the window and peers through.Boot is
there trying to strike upm his cigarette
Rafe knocks on the window aggressively. He is seething

Rafe drags boot into the living room

Continues to drag him up the stairs to a room while still
yelling at Boot.

INTO ROOM
Rafe is being violent towards boot and his actions are being
filmed from outside the room. The sound is heard from outside
the room whilst Rafe is slamming Boot against the wall while
continuing to yell.

INT HOUSE
Boot runs out of the room and film him running out the room,
and dashing down the stairs to the door to run outside.
Shutting the door behind him.

Rafe is shouting boots name from a bridge that looks over the
pond area

boot turns around, he slips into the pond as he turns

Rafe runs to where boot has just slipped and is shouting
boots name and is no where to be seen.
