1) A family moves into a new house. Their daughter Beth finds strange notes in her room and her teddy bear is damaged. 2) Beth starts behaving strangely and violently. She scratches her mother and destroys parts of the house. 3) The family is concerned about what has changed in Beth and what is causing her disturbing new behavior in their new home.

1. SCRIPT:
FADE IN:
EXT. NEW FAMILY HOUSE – DAY
FREDDIE and CHARLOTTE begin to move things into their newly brought
house, an establishing shot will set the scene of this film.
FREDDIE:
I feel really good about this
One CHARLOTTE.
CHARLOTTE:
Yeah so do I, I love it here.
Can’t believe it was such a
Bargain.
BETH rummages through the last few boxes in order to find her favourite
teddy.
BETH:
Mummy, I found it!
CHARLOTTE:
That tatty old thing
Should’ve got left behind.
BETH glares at CHARLOTTE then runs inside the new family house
FADE TO BLACK
INT. BETHS BEDROOM
BETH finds a note written on pink flowery paper saying in bold capital
letters “HI FRIEND”. BETH replies to the note saying “HELLO WHO ARE YOU?”
CHARLOTTE:
(SHOUTS)Dinners ready!
BETH carefully puts her teddy on her bed and puts the strange note in one
of her draws so it’s safe. Then leaves her bedroom
INT. DINING ROOM
Family sitting at table Beth hears her teddy making a noise upstairs.
INT. BETH’S ROOM
BETH stands looking at her teddy that has an ear ripped off and the note is
sat beside it however it’s scrunched up, she opens the note and sees that
nothing is on it. She looks up confused and sees written on the window it
says “WHY DIDN’T YOU INVITE ME TO DINNER FRIEND?”
BETH:
(SCREAMS)MUMMY!

2. CHARLOTTE stands beside BETH, BETH points to the window but there isn’t
anything there. BETH holds teddy up to CHARLOTTE and CHARLOTTE shakes her
head.
INT. BETHS BEDROOM/FAMILY BATHROOM – NIGHTIME
BETH hears her teddy in the bathroom, she proceeds to look for it and enter
the bathroom. She sees her teddy in a sink full of blood. She looks into
the mirror and sees her teddy’s missing arm. She tries to reach it and
notices a figure behind her.
INT. BETHS BEDROOM
BETH is seen sitting on her bed upright rocking staring at a blank wall.
INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY
BETH is now possessed and writing on the family mirrors herself.
INT. DINING ROOM – DAY
BETH starts reading the note at the family table and CHARLOTTE snatches it
off but BETH swipes her in the face leaving her with a scratch across her
face.
INT. KITCHEN.
CHARLOTTE is crying whilst she and FREDDIE look though old photo of BETH.
FREDDIE walks into the kitchen to see her crying.
FREDDIE:
What’s wrong?
CHARLOTTE
(WHILST HOLDING UP A PICTURE)
What went wrong?
EXT. GARDEN - EVENING
BETH walks in the garden, and a light turns on as she walks, she then
stares into the light.
INT. KITCHEN – EVENING
BETH begins to destroy the house including ripping off the table cloth and
kicking the furniture around. BETH hears her mother coming down the stairs
and then she hides behind the kitchen wall and follows her mother into the
living room.
INT. LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
BETH pushes her mother then goes to hit her with a vase as this is
interrupted by FREDDIE who grabs the vase.
FREDDIE:
Why are you doing
All this?
BETH:
THE NOTE.
