2. Q4. How did you do use media technologies in the
construction, research, planning & evaluation stages?
• I used media technologies in the construction of my final production such as; Final Cut Pro and
Photoshop, whilst only studying media for 2 years and not being able to take the subject at GCSE I
had a disadvantage with the technologies that was used to construct, research and plan for my
production, teaching myself how to learn Final Cut Pro, InDesign and Photoshop to make sure that I
had no disadvantage to any of my other class mates. Within the construction of my music video I
picked up skills that I have now mastered like, editing techniques, Photoshop skills and am now able to
create a music video on Final Cut Pro, the use of cameras angles, shots, movements don't highlight my
skills with a camera and a tripod although having a low quality camera was a disadvantage that I had to
deal with. Whilst using software that enabled me to create my final production, I learnt how to cut,
rearrange, construct and develop on films, music videos, short clips and vlogs. I feel that I have
developed myself along these two years which have made me to feel confident and able with these
technologies.

3. • I used a variety of technologies within my research and planning of my final production as well as ancillary tasks,
from common technologies like; PowerPoint and word to construct questionnaires etc., to developing further and
expanding my planning and research to Pinterest boards, Emaze and other software websites that allow me to create
presentations, I wanted to show my creativity by finding different sites that allow me to express this. Whilst looking
into planning and research I took it upon myself to photograph locations, my actors and other key aspects to make
sure that I was still showing that I can be physically involved in the making as well as just over software.
• Planning and research I found that Prezi and Issu were my most used software this was because of the access that I
had with the app, I was ale to get the app for my Ipad and home devices meaning that I could create a prezi/issu in
less then thirty minutes. Another presentation that I recently found that I thought was helpful and constructive was
Slideshare because of the tagging of pages. Throughout both planning and research I feel that I have grown with
presentation skills and the technologies themselves , I’m able to now use most software that is available to me, I feel
that this is because of my dedication and variety to have on my blog.

4. • With my evaluation stages I have used technologies that are familiar so I can produce the best possible
work for my blog, I used Prezi, Issu, Emaze and Slideshare as these are all technologies I know well,
being able to construct a presentation is easy and effective on each site. Last year I didn’t know how to
work Emaze and was lost when I found it, because of the technologies and the layout of the site,
however I found that Prezi and Issu came naturally to me, this maybe because of my presentation
skills and my need for creativity.
