1. How did I use Media Techonlogy
in my research, planning,
construction and evaluation.
2. Blogger
This is where I have uploaded
all of my posts of research,
planning, construction and
evaluation.
Blogging is an excelllent online
tool to upload a journey of
work. You can edit posts,
feature them, organise them
ect.
3. PC/Mac
At school I used two type of platforms, the Macbook which I disliked due to how
small it is and the fact you canโt maximize windows. The keyboard was too
compressed too with a tiny screen. I could not work with it, but we put our
differences aside and I had managed to do research on the Mac by looking on
Youtube for short films and posters on google images.
The Pc, I am a Pc person. The Pc offered me many types of software such as
Adobe Web CS5.5 (PhotoShop, Flash and Fireworks), Microsoft Excel,
Powerpoint and Word.
I have managed to research on the websites such as YouTube, Blogs, FIlm
reviews ect. Then with my findings I would write out a document such as an
analysis for a film or for a poster. These findings were recorded with word and
then uploaded to scrib, which was embedded on my blog
As you can see I have used two different types of platorms for all stages of my
coursework. I can now use a Mac effectively and my skills in editing and creating
spreadsheets have increased from using the PC
4. On YouTube I was able to research short
films, existing products. From looking at
these short films I was able to understand
the conventions and codes of short films.
Youtube allowed me to also upoad my short
films which were then shared with my
target audience on Facebook and
upoaded on my blogspot.
5. Social Networking Sites
For my research,planning
and construction I have
used Facebook,Twitter
and Tumblr, Youtube to
present my main product
and print workd to my
target audience.
This has worked well
because I have been
able to gather feedback
and improve on my work.
6. Survey Monkey

where my target audience had
completed it

my media main task and print
task on the results
7. Fireworks and Photoshop
โข Proffesional softwares that real media
companies use, not publisher. Allowed
print task to have great quality and a
proffeesional look to it
โข Two types of softwares: Fireworks I made
my film review and in Photoshop I made
my film poster.
โข These two were used in the construction
stage.
8. Video, Camera and MobilePhone
These three were used for my construction and
plannng stage. By using the schools 1280 HD
video camera I was able to create my film.
With the mobile phone I had tooken images of
the locations of where I will be shooting.
With the stil camera I had taken a picture of Nick
and Joe for my PRINT task which was then
edited on PhotoShop and created.
9. Imovie
Last year I had used Sony Vegas and I have gotten
excellent results from using it, such as being able to
colour correct, green screen and add so much more Fx.
This year I feel I have been let down, since the editing
software the school had was Imovie. It had limited me
from unlockng my potential on my main task- such as
colour correction and transaction effects.
But I percerviered and used Imovie to edit my film. Despite
my film being a little bad, Iโm still proud of it since I used
a different platform to edit my film.
10. I had created presentations of my findings in my
coursework on powerpoint. This was then uploaded on to
sideshare which enabled me to then embedd the
document in to my blog.
Powerpoint was used to asnwer the first question of my
evaluation, it is good because I was able to visually
display my poster and film review whilst comparing it with
other existing products
These were then uploaded on to slide share which were
then uploaded on to my blog.
11. For my research and planning I had used presened my
findings as an essay which was typed up using tWord.
This was easy because I could just print screen then crop
it on word with out having to save an image then edit it
and upload it on my blog.
Word enabled me to create documents of research for my
films, posters and film reviews.
I also created my script on word, shich was then uploaded to
scribd. I had shared this on twitter, using scribd, and I
gained excellent feedback on my scribd (pardon the pun)
Scribd is a website that allows users to upload word
documents for it to be shared all around the wolrld (web).
And this is what I have been doing, sharing my
documents such as my script for it to be noticed by my
target audience.
Scribd also enabled me, just like slideshare- to embed my
document in to my blog.
12. Using Prezi I had created an interactive
presentation that the viewer can interact with
and look at my findings for my evalutation.
Popplet is an interactive whiteboard, I used it for
my evaulation like the first question to make
mind maps of conventions of posters and short
films.
The good thing is that itโs interative and both tools
allow me to embed it on to my blog.
