2. 1 INT. LIVING ROOM. DAY 1
A teenager, relaxes on his sofa with the TV faintly
playing in the background. His phone vibrates with a text
message,
LUCY
Hey what you doing today? want to
meet up?
The boy is shocked and eagerly replies
JAMES
Yes Absolutely!
James stops typing and composes himself before deleting
the text and re-phrasing it.
JAMES
Yeah, sounds good.
After sending the text he slumps back onto the sofa and
smirks.
SCREEN FADES TO BLACK - DOOR UNLOCKING SOUND EFFECT
2 EXT. LUCY’S HOUSE. DAY 2
LUCY
You coming in?
JAMES
Ye..Yeah sure
A missing poster is revealed in the foreground as the two
enter the house.
TITLE: Out of Sight
3 INT. RESTAURANT. EVENING 3
Music plays over the two as they chat and laugh with one
another.
FADE OUT
4 INT. BEDROOM. NIGHT 4
James lies awake in bed, smiling at the ceiling. Lucy lies
with her back turned, asleep.
James turns to the desk and grabs his phone to look
through the photos from the day.
He slowly scrolls through the images, and the smile is
wiped from his face.
3. 2.
The glowing phone screen reveals an image the couple took
earlier in the day. Lucy appears to be transparent in the
image.
James looks concerned and confused, he examines the image
closely.
James swipes to the next image, Lucy appears even more see
through in this one. James turns his head to Lucy, who
lies asleep next to him. He turns back and zooms closer
into the image.
JAMES
(whispered) What the..?
James reaches the final image, Lucy’s eyes appear black
and lifeless in the photo.
James briskly yet quietly climbs out of bed and tiptoes to
the opposite end of the room.
He examines Lucy as she lies in the corner. He stands
completely still and stares.
James brings his phone towards his eyes slowly and looks
at Lucy through the device’s camera.
He continues to stare towards the bed.
James grasps his phone harder and clicks the shutter
button.
The flash illuminates the room for a few seconds then
dims. Then it flashes a gain for a split second
Lucy is suddenly sitting up at the end of the bed giving a
menacing stare.
JAMES
(gasps)
LUCY
Wh..What are you doing?
JAMES
Uhh..Sorry I thought I saw
somethi..(interupted)
LUCY
What?
JAMES
Umm..It was probably nothing.
(pause)
4. 3.
LUCY
You’re delusional, come back to
bed.
James places the phone on the near by desk and wanders
back to bed. The phone screen reveals the photo James just
took. In it, Lucy stares menacingly into the lens, her
eyes are black and her stance is demonic.
A loud screaming can be heard along with the sound of
tearing and munching. The sounds build to a climax until
they end abruptly.
CUT TO BLACK
A flash of a blood covered Lucy appears momentarily.

A man walks through and empty street towards a lamp post.
He puts up a poster.
MISSING BOY: James West
The man walks to the next post until he eventually fades
out of frame.
