1. Script
Scene 1: The discovery
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE LIVING ROOM – DAY
A young couple are in their house in
York. George is watching TV. Isabelle
walks in and the door slams. She walks
into the living room, sits down on the
sofa and looks at her phone. George is
still staring at the TV. They both
don’t say anything. Isabelle then goes
out of the living room. 10 seconds
later, she comes back with George’s
phone in her hand. She shows it up and
puts it in George’s face.
ISABELLE
What’s this?
GEORGE
My phone. Why? What do you think it
is?
ISABELLE
You think you’re so funny. This – the
messages.
GEORGE
Ah
ISABELLE
Ah, that’s all you’ve got to say. Ah.

2. GEORGE
What do you want me to say? You
stopped loving me a long time ago.
(ISABELLE starts fighting GEORGE.
ISABELLE pushes GEORGE to the ground
and starts hitting him. 10 seconds
later, GEORGE tries to fight ISABELLE
off.)
ISABELLE
Get out
GEORGE
I’m sorry
ISABELLE
Get out… now
GEORGE goes upstairs to pack a bag
FADE TO BLACK:
Scene 2: The affair unravels
FADE IN:
George finishes packing his bag.
Isabelle is in the living room.
The door from upstairs slams shut.

3. George comes down stairs into the
living room
GEORGE
Well that’s everything.
ISABELLE
How long?
GEORGE
Does it matter?
ISABELLE
Yes it matters. How long?
GEORGE
Three months
ISABELLE
Three months. What does she do
that I don’t?
GEORGE
That’s it, I can’t deal with this
anymore. I’m leaving.
George leaves the house.
Isabelle goes back into the living
room and sits down

4. A car comes up the street and
there’s a loud smack
Isabelle jumps up and runs to the
front of the house.
George is lying on the floor
