protecting them from malicious access and insider attacks. Banking Financial Services and Insurance
(BFSI) industry is one such segment that faces increased risks and security challenges. The typical
architecture of this segment includes several thousands of users connecting from various branches over
Wide Area Network (WAN) links crossing national and international boundaries with varying network
speed to access data center resources. The objective of this work is to deploy LAN security solution to
protect the data center located at headquarters from the end user machines. A LAN security solution should
ideally provide Network Access Control (NAC) along with cleaning (securing) the traffic going through it.
Traffic cleaning itself includes various features like firewall, intrusion detection/prevention, traffic anomaly
detection, validation of asset ownership etc. LANenforcer (LE) is a device deployed in front of the data
center such that the traffic from end-user machines necessarily passes through it so that it can enforce
security. The goal of this system is to enhance the security features of a LANenforcer security system with
Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) to enable it to detect and prevent malicious network activities. IPS is
plugged into the packet path based on the configuration in such a way that the entire traffic passes through
the IPS on LE.

There is so much possibility that if a set of enterprise switch ports is open, then one of their employees can sniff the whole traffic of the network. Anyone in the same physical location can plug into the network using Ethernet cable or connect wirelessly to that network and sniff the total traffic.
In other words, Sniffing allows you to see all sorts of traffic, both protected and unprotected. In the right conditions and with the right protocols in place, an attacking party may be able to gather information that can be used for further attacks or to cause other issues for the network or system owner.

Data Acquisition and Control System for Real Time Applications
This paper proposes an Embedded Ethernet which is nothing but a processor that is capable to communicate with the network. This helps in data acquisition and status monitoring with the help of standard LAN. Currently device with processor is widely used in industrial field. The Embedded Ethernet provides web access to distributed measurement/control systems and provides optimization for instrumentation, educational laboratories and home automation. However, a large number of devices don't have the network interface and the data from them cannot be transmitted in network. A design of ARM Processor based Embedded Ethernet interface is presented. In this design, data can be transmitted transparently through Ethernet interface unit to remote end desktop computer. By typing the IP address of LAN on the ARM9 board, the user gets sensor values on the PC screen at remote station. This provides the status of the devices at remote field. The user can also control the devices interfaced to the ARM9 Board by pressing the button displayed on the GUI of the remote Desktop PC.

SECURE ADHOC ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR PRIVACY RESERVATION
Privacy preserving routing is crucial for some Ad hoc networks that require
stronger privacy protection. A number of schemes have been proposed to protect privacy in
Ad hoc networks. However, none of these schemes offer unobservability property since data
packets and control packets are still linkable and distinguishable in these schemes. In this
paper, we define stronger privacy requirements regarding privacy preserving routing in
mobile ad hoc networks. Then we propose an Unobservable Secure Routing scheme (USOR)
to offer complete unlinkability and content unobservability for all types of packets. USOR is
efficient as it uses a novel combination of group signature and ID-based encryption for route
discovery. Security analysis demonstrates that USOR can well protect user privacy against
both inside and outside attackers. We implement USOR on Network Security (NS2), and
evaluate its performance by comparing with Ad Hoc On demand Distance Vector Routing
(AODV) and MASK. The simulation results show that USOR not only has satisfactory
performance compared to AODV, but also achieves stronger privacy protection than existing
schemes like Mask.

The control and transmission of huge data constitute an immense challenge in various types of networks (wired and wireless). Congestion caused by the high traffic and low throughput of huge data continues to be major problems in a heterogeneous platforms such as internet of things (IoT) technology and internet-of-robotic-things (IoRT). The heterogeneous network requires new models and mechanisms to deal with the increased challenges posed by IoT and IoRT. Accordingly, eliminating the issues that emerge has compelled finding improved solutions as a new strategy. This study proposed a new strategy called routing information and distance vector (RIDV) to create the best improvement of a heterogeneous network. The RIDV strategy activates the routing information protocol (RIPv2) on a router in wire network parallel with the ad-hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) protocol on the wireless network. The RIDV strategy is used to solve the problems of the diversity of heterogeneous networks as the basis of the infrastructure IoRT technology. Hence, this strategy can reduce or avoid congestion through the use of enhanced and effective best routing protocols. Simulation results using OPNET show that the proposed method improved the quality of service (QoS) compared with other related strategies and AODV and RIPv1 protocols in terms of data drop, traffic drop, queue delay, and throughput.

This paper proposes an Embedded Ethernet which is nothing but a processor that is capable to communicate with the network. This helps in data acquisition and status monitoring with the help of standard LAN. Currently device with processor is widely used in industrial field. The Embedded Ethernet provides web access to distributed measurement/control systems and provides optimization for instrumentation, educational laboratories and home automation. However, a large number of devices don't have the network interface and the data from them cannot be transmitted in network. A design of ARM Processor based Embedded Ethernet interface is presented. In this design, data can be transmitted transparently through Ethernet interface unit to remote end desktop computer. By typing the IP address of LAN on the ARM9 board, the user gets sensor values on the PC screen at remote station. This provides the status of the devices at remote field. The user can also control the devices interfaced to the ARM9 Board by pressing the button displayed on the GUI of the remote Desktop PC.

SECURE ADHOC ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR PRIVACY RESERVATION
Privacy preserving routing is crucial for some Ad hoc networks that require
stronger privacy protection. A number of schemes have been proposed to protect privacy in
Ad hoc networks. However, none of these schemes offer unobservability property since data
packets and control packets are still linkable and distinguishable in these schemes. In this
paper, we define stronger privacy requirements regarding privacy preserving routing in
mobile ad hoc networks. Then we propose an Unobservable Secure Routing scheme (USOR)
to offer complete unlinkability and content unobservability for all types of packets. USOR is
efficient as it uses a novel combination of group signature and ID-based encryption for route
discovery. Security analysis demonstrates that USOR can well protect user privacy against
both inside and outside attackers. We implement USOR on Network Security (NS2), and
evaluate its performance by comparing with Ad Hoc On demand Distance Vector Routing
(AODV) and MASK. The simulation results show that USOR not only has satisfactory
performance compared to AODV, but also achieves stronger privacy protection than existing
schemes like Mask.

The control and transmission of huge data constitute an immense challenge in various types of networks (wired and wireless). Congestion caused by the high traffic and low throughput of huge data continues to be major problems in a heterogeneous platforms such as internet of things (IoT) technology and internet-of-robotic-things (IoRT). The heterogeneous network requires new models and mechanisms to deal with the increased challenges posed by IoT and IoRT. Accordingly, eliminating the issues that emerge has compelled finding improved solutions as a new strategy. This study proposed a new strategy called routing information and distance vector (RIDV) to create the best improvement of a heterogeneous network. The RIDV strategy activates the routing information protocol (RIPv2) on a router in wire network parallel with the ad-hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) protocol on the wireless network. The RIDV strategy is used to solve the problems of the diversity of heterogeneous networks as the basis of the infrastructure IoRT technology. Hence, this strategy can reduce or avoid congestion through the use of enhanced and effective best routing protocols. Simulation results using OPNET show that the proposed method improved the quality of service (QoS) compared with other related strategies and AODV and RIPv1 protocols in terms of data drop, traffic drop, queue delay, and throughput.

The new project started with a kick-off meeting in Australia. At Racy, such a
meeting typically takes two days. The Malay project members, however, left
prematurely complaining to a corporate project management facilitator about the

The Indian project manager, technically highly capable, but without any
international leadership experience, introduced himself with: I am the king. In my
local language, my name stands for king. I stem from the highest caste in India.
Then he requested input from the Malays in a brainstorming meeting that the
Malays were not prepared for. The Malays had the suspicion that the project
manager had deliberately not briefed them before the kick-off meeting to make
them look dull in front of their Australian colleagues. They were afraid of getting
fewer tasks assigned at the kick-off workshop than the other sites. Fewer tasks
meant a lower income for their local site, translating into less importance and fewer
jobs.
The Malays wanted to discuss their concerns with the Indian project manager.
However, they had the impression that he was too arrogant to listen. So the Malays
gave up and returned to their subsidiary, leaving the project manager puzzled. What
was going on? Certainly, this was the worst project start one could imagine.

reputation rested signifi- cantly on the hard work of the companys cus- tomer care teams,
including call center employees, service technicians, and sales representatives. The supervisors
of these teams did not always know how to ensure that their employees delivered excellent
service. Insight tended to select people for the supervisory jobs based on excellent technical
skillschoosing people who performed well as customer service representatives or service techni-
cians. Once in their new positions, these supervi- sors had to figure out for themselves how to
lead others. And of course, they were not always sure how to do that. Insight therefore put
together a leadership training program for its supervisors. By exploring the idea with
professional organizations, the com- pany found that no existing training program tar- geted
supervisory-level employees in cablecompanies. So Insight hired one of the organiza- tions, the
Cable Center, to develop a program for the companys needs. The Cable Center created a two-

The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing.
