• Preparing Inspection Test plans/Quality inspection plans (QIP), Quality inspection reports (QIR) and

• Preparation of welding procedure qualification record (WPQR), different materials, Alloy steel, carbon

3. • Witness of welder’s qualification test and preparation/review of welders ID cards and welder’s
performance records and maintain welders qualification register and repairs record, take remedial
measures after investigating the reasons of repairs and arrange training sessions for the welders to
enhance their skill and knowledge to control repair rates.
• Inspection of joint design, welding parameters, pre-heat as per WPS requirement.
• To qualify new welding personnel (WQT) according to ASME section-IX.
• Ensure that non-conformance report (NCR) raised once the activities deviated from the contract
specification or normal construction industry practices.
• Preparation of piping weld maps according to easily site movement of piping spool and erection.
• Welding inspection as per applicable welding procedure, welding process and code requirements.
• Update daily welding control summary record as per drawing, line and designated area.
• Arrange NDT after final visual inspection of welded joint as per client specification.
• Interpretation of radiographic films as per acceptance criteria of the applicable code.
• Witness of Dye penetration test, Magnetic particle inspection test, and ultrasonic test, as per applicable
code.
• Inspection of fabricated pipe spools as per drawing, after satisfaction dispatch for sand blasting and
painting.
• Inspection of pipe coating internal as well as external.
• Inspection of steel structure pipe supports and pipe rack fabrication erection as per applicable code and
issued for construction drawings.
• Inspection of sand blasting profile and painting coats as per client specification.
• Arrange and inspection of PWHT as per applicable code, heating rate, cooling rate, soak time period and

• Preparation of final punch listing of the line release for hydrostatic testing.
