Summary;
This paper discusses about the Quality assurance in school education in Pakistan and the challenges
which are being faced in acquiring that desired quality. In abstract of this paper authors discussed about
the education system in Pakistan. School education is a pathway towards highereducation but now days
in Pakistan government is facing different types of challenges. For resolving that challenges government
is taking initiatives and making strategies by utilizing local and international resources. By following
those strategies government will get a pathway towards success. The main purpose is to find that
challenges which effect quality education in Pakistan. Then in introduction authors highlighted the
importance of education in different level. Education plays it major role in developments. Through
education nation can get awareness. Due to education everyone can understands its rights and duties.
In second paragraph of introduction the importance of school is discussed. It is said that school is the
place which provides the future to the nation. School provides the base for the higher education and the
college and universities education is depended upon the learning of schools. When students entered in
the higher education the acquired capabilities from school are polished in college and universities. In
third paragraph it is said that school education prepares students to meat challenges and to enter in the
global markets but at international level on different forums Pakistani school education is criticized due
to no good quality. Students got degrees from institutes but unable to find job for them and Hassan Said
in 2005 that there is serious mismatched in supply and job demand. Government admits that there are
seriouschallengesinqualityof school educationsuchaslake of goodtrainingprovidedtoteachers.
Dakar Framework of Action (2000) in the world education forum stated that quality education included
one of the six goals in 1993 Robinson said that quality education can be acquired by controlling,
coordinating, planning and monitoring. In 2003 Dill said that quality education is intangible so it is not
measureable. In 2003 UNESCO stated the view of the most of people who consider that this is ultimate
benefit of student and can be achieved when all stakeholders shows their concerns. When good inputs
will be given,the qualityoutputultimatelywill be acquired.
The most important factor is access of youngsters towards quality education. The other factor is
teachers and curriculum. Govt of Pakistan emphasize on quality education always, first conference was
held in 1947 when Pakistan was new born country. In 2002 government made educational reforms. In
short if we provide qualityeducationwe canrule the worldthrougheveryaspect.
