2. I have been really pleased with the outcome of
all three of my media products and feel that the
suit the horror genre and suitable for their
purposes.
I have tried to combine my main media products
together with the ancillary products by creating
elements within each of the three products.
3. The products work well together to the sell the
narrative of the film to the audience.
Each media product features the same
character and each time I have tried to add
mystery and suspense. Which will create an
interest in the films narrative.
With ambiguous elements reinforced like this, the
audience naturally going to be more interested
in watching the film when it is released.
4. The main technique I decided to use was
continuity. As this creates a sense of
sophistication and provides a joint identity to
the audience.
Another way I provide a joint identity is
through making sure they were all produced
and taken in the same location. In my case
which was a woodland area. These elements
are clearly evident in each three products in
the background.
5. The use of font was also another major
element which combined all three media
products together. Although I used three
fonts in total they we are all evident on each
piece of production. This font was used
mainly in the main cover title in the poster,
Anchorage text in the trailer and relevant
cover lines in the magazine cover.
6. Images was also consistent throughout my
products. They were all taken at the same time
and place which adds consistency while
ensuring horror element were added. The use of
location also helped to create this through it
being my main shooting location. The camera
angles were slightly changed to appeal and
attract the audience. It would also help me to
reinforce the idea of power and vulnerability
within the character.
