MEN’S
Wilfredo Sanchez, Texas A&M University-Commerce, SR, Maracaibo, Venezuela, Colegio Nuestra Seora de Chiquinquir
Sanchez picked up his first individual title as a Lion with medalist honors at The Classic at Firewheel Golf Course. He led
the Lions to a 28-stroke victory, which was their second of the fall, pushing their GolfStat ranking to eighth in the nation.
Sanchez shot 2-over par 218 (73-68-77) in the 54-hole event, winning by a stroke. He led the tournament with 14 birdies
and was tops in par five scoring.

The Lion men moved up to 8th nationally in the GolfStat statistical rankings with a 28-stroke victory at their fall home
event, The Classic at Firewheel. A&M-Commerce shot 887 (289-287-311, +23) to roll to their second victory in four
chances this fall. Wilfredo Sanchez took medalist honors at 218 (+2, 73-68-77).
