Learning outcomes Writing  produce organized and edited written work in essay form  write a basic research paper with the proper in-text citation and references  be able to summarize and paraphrase Reading  understand a variety of formal and informal texts  identifying main ideas, and specific details  the organization of the text  to respond to what they read in speech or writing

Learning outcomes Speaking  participate in class and group discussions,  give oral presentations (formal and informal) Listening  listenand take notes, identify key words, grasp the main point, and identify specific details in some longer listening activities  begin to work on academic listening

  • 10. To pass the levels  a mark of 65% or above in writing, reading, and speaking  65% in in-class writing  55% in listening
  • 11. Academic Honesty  Cheating  get a failing grade for any assignment or test 1st time: interviewed by the Associate Director or the Director immediate dismissal not permitted to register in future Academic Program sessions.
  • 12. Plagiarism  have another person write, in full or in part, an assignment  copy materials without providing citations  Consequences  Get a failing grade for any assignment or test  Plagiarized more than once:  an interview with the Associate Director or the Director,  immediate dismissal from the Academic Program.
