The contrast between different types of leadership appears in the chapter Flies and Spiders in J.R.R

"Conductor" style was that of the final conductor because he lead the orchestra with his arms

My Leadership And The Army 's Leadership
I spent a number of years at 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), based in Stuttgart,
Germany. I grew up in the unit, learning as I went and increasing my responsibilities as I gained
rank. Sometimes I had a Soldier or two for whom I was responsible. I mentored them, guided their
activities, and pushed them to become better leaders. Then there were other periods where I wasn't
necessarily responsible for troops. My leadership development took the form of mission
management and initiative, unit training, or independent project development. I also began to notice
the importance of organizational leadership and perspective. By the time I left the unit as a Staff
Sergeant, having also undergone significant personal growth and maturing, I came to see leadership
not so much as a set of tools to get things done, but an attitude or a mindset that must maintain.
In my current assignment, it is my responsibility to project and promote the Army's leadership
values every day. This role has significantly informed my more polished leadership philosophy in
the last year. What I have found is that when I approach my work with the right mindset and regard
myself as a leader in every moment, the actual tasks of any mission are simply accomplished at, or
usually above, the standard. It is the most important elements of that mindset that I seek to discuss
here: professionalism, trust, and service.

three components learned will be discussed in this paper are courage, knowledge and wisdom, these
three components have a congruent purpose that will be explained in this paper. The next section
includes strategies that organizations can use to improve their processes, to build up their leaders'
leadership skills, and increase their performance. The last sections contain a biblical integration of

Courage
Hoff, (2015) states that some of the traits of a courageous leader are able to face adversity, holding
everyone to the same standards, encourages feedback, ask peers and employees for their input, and
have the ability to foster change in an organization. John Maxwell stated that "a great leader's
courage to fulfill his vision comes from, passion, not position" (Hoff, 2015, p. 33). According to the
Blackboard video, there are many types of courage found in leaders, such as mental, moral,
emotional, physical, and spiritual (Dees, 2014). When a leader is in the midst of a crisis and acts
boldly, with courage, it can define courage as the ability to take the proper action, to do the right
thing, for the right reasons, in the most efficient and effective way for all concerned.

Throughout history, there has been numerous accounts of great leadership. Whether its political or
social leadership, each man or woman has his or her own unique set of characteristics that makes
them great. Frequently they leave a legacy which is observed meticulously in order to understand

Like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. also had a vision of racial equality. He was a Baptist
minister that led the non–violent American Civil Rights Movement from December 1955, until April
4, 1968. At the time of the civil rights movement segregation was prevalent in the southern United
States. Blacks and whites were valued differently and considered a different class from one another.
They did not share the same rights, and black Americans were treated unfairly. The most significant
