Internet and then charging an annual fee to use their online service. This has caused me to stop
playing games and look for alternative forms of entertainment. I have found that a gaming computer

How I Got An Xbox 360
Growing up I was very active. I enjoyed going outside and playing sports. Most of the time my
friends and I would throw the football, ride four wheelers, or do anything that included being active
and moving around. Then there were days it would be raining and we could not go outside, or it be
night time and had to stay inside. When I could not go outside, I was bored and I complained about
being bored all the time. We did not have much technology items in our house. So, finding stuff to

Microsoft's Xbox for the top spot in the console gaming industry. The current "next gen" consoles
are the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox one. Having a PlayStation 4 myself, the PlayStation 4 is, without
a doubt, the better console of the two. The two consoles share similarities, but also have differences,
in the hardware enclosed within them, their online services, and the games that they offer players.
Hardware, the first aspect of comparison, is where the PlayStation 4 has a slight edge. It gains this
edge by using the GDDR5 RAM. The Xbox One, on the other hand, uses a DDR3 RAM, which is a
model earlier than the GDDR5 RAM. Other than the RAM, both consoles share the same 8–core
AMD CPUs, 8GB of memory, 500GB internal hard drives, and Blu–ray optical drives. Their
hardware similarities cease at the controllers used by each console. The PlayStation 4's gamepad is

I have a unique story with technology. It has been a big part of my life since I moved to St. Louis
when I was five, a lot more than I ever thought about until now. I have made a lot of mistakes
through it, like it has opened a whole new can of trouble for me. I have gotten through it, and
learned from some of my mistakes. While it might cause me trouble, it also connects me to my
family that lives far away from me. Especially my dad and step–mom. When I make those mistakes,
my family is always there to glue me back together or "reboot my system" per say. I like technology
because it helps me and the world. I can say that yes I have had some problems, but they have
helped me grow up, learn about myself, work as a catalyst to connect me with my family. So here is
my story, it opens with my first big technology memory....I do not remember a lot of full memories
from ages three to nine, just little snippets. Yet I remember this. It was cold out and nighttime. I was
wearing my pink velor dress, that is how I know it was close to winter. I was in my carseat in the
backseat of my stepdad's big black 2001 Cadillac. I was probably coming home from my two hour
drive from my biological dad's house. I think I was nine at the time. My mom was in the passenger's
seat, she turned around and handed me my first phone. It was her old silver/grey flip phone. I was so
excited. But like who gives a nine year old a phone? Well Dave told me that I was only allowed to
use it to call them, my home phone (because it was 2010 and home phones were still a thing), my
grandparents, and especially my dad. I remember being told that the only reason I got the phone was

Speaking of online play, some games on the Ps4 do not need to go online to play, which good for the
times my wifi goes down or if I dont have wifi. I have a habit of burning through controller batteries

Physical Sports At Covert Avenue Elementary School Essay
I never really had a distinct like for physical sports. I don't find it as interesting as others say when
they watch it on TV or go to the actual games. I'm more of a spectator standing behind the sidelines
and observing. I remember back when my mother bought me my first video game console. I spent
most of my time playing it while others outside playing sports. Thus, this is what evoked my
alteration from my love for sports to video game E–sports. At the age of 7, my mother signed me up
to play major league soccer for the local community. It was fun at first, because of the family
support and competiveness of the sport. During the summer of 1st grade at Covert Avenue
Elementary School in Elmont, New York I would go to the soccer field every other day to practice
and play against other teams on the weekends. It was a great experience until I got hit by another
player making me unable to play for the upcoming games. The other player slid into my left leg and
sprained my ankle. While being in excruciating pain, I was unable to go out to see my friends. I was
stuck in my house for a couple weeks, because my mom wanted me to get better. Since she is a strict
and concerned Asian mother, I was not able to do any physical activity inside or outside of my

The central theme in Jonah Berger's book, Contagious: Why Things Catch On, focuses on the six
important principles of STEPPS that can make a good or service circulate quickly amongst the mass
public. Berger explains the reason behind why people talk about a certain product and the resulting
factors. The six "ingredients," Social Currency, Triggers, Emotion, Public, Practical Value, and
Stories, "cause things to be talked about, shared, and imitated" (Berger, 2013). Basically, STEPPS
create awareness of the business's brand. For a business to spread its brand awareness, Berger
teachings of using STEPPS "provides a framework and a set of specific, actionable techniques for
helping information spread" (Berger, 2013).

Berger does a good job explaining what STEPPS is and how companies can utilize it to their own
advantage.
The first principle is social currency, which pertains to appearance. This principle is almost
equivalent to spending money of goods and services, but involves judgement calls from people.
People want others to know that they are a big deal, meaning that they rather want to "look smart
