peer.

of character education (developing morals,

 Have them either shoot a video using provided
camera or create a story using a digital
storytelling site
 Present their stories to the school in a Character
Assembly
 Character education is very easy to integrate
into everyday lessons if the classroom is
interactive.

Videos  Watch videos of situations and discuss as a class to decide the ethical or moral decision to make in that given scenario.  Upload videos to Facebook and have each student respond with what they would do in that situation or make a judgement.  Like “Pass It On—Values” commercials  2.Social Media: Facebook  Students give a compliment on a regular basis to a peer.  Something they have seen classmates doing that they like/approve of

  • 9.  Digital Storytelling  Split into groups, assign each group a component of character education (developing morals, civics, ethical reasoning, conflict resolution, manners, interpersonal relations, respect)  Have them either shoot a video using provided camera or create a story using a digital storytelling site  Present their stories to the school in a Character Assembly

  • 11.  Character education is very easy to integrate into everyday lessons if the classroom is interactive.  Teachable Moments  Through character education, molding our students into responsible, respectful, participating, ethical decision-making citizens, we can impact the world.
