withinmyclassroom.Iuse google classroomtoshare informationandassignments.Students
alsouse google classroomtotake exitquizzesandworkonprojects.The school districtsuses
google,sostudentsandteachershave the abilitytoshare andcommunicate.Ithinkallowingthe
studentstoactivelyengage withthe projectorwill increase theirparticipation.
 If a studentdoesnothave a personal device to bringwiththem, thentheywill have accesstoa
school issueddevice.Eachstudentatmy school has accessto a chromebook.Theytake them
fromclass to classand are allowedtotake themhome duringthe school year.The school has
possessionof afewclasssetsof iPadsthat couldalsobe usedfor instruction.
 Studentswill be groupeddependingonthe activity.Some activitieslike KahootandQuizletdo
allowforteams,butsome workshouldbe done independentlytosee student’sindividual
mastery. Some appslike QuizletLive groupsstudentsforyoubygivingthemananimal andthey
mustfindtheirpartnerswiththe same animal or name.Partnerswill be usedmore oftenthan
groups,and groupswill notexceedthree people.If the goal of the lessonor activityisto learn
newcontentthenpartnerswill be mixedabilitylevels.Thisprovidesopportunitytohearfrom
theirpeersandteacheach otherhow theyinterpretthe problem.If the goal of the lessonor
activityisto gaina general ideaof understandingthenpartnerswill be of similarabilitylevels.
