BYOD/BYOT Implementation Plan for High School Language Arts at Allgood Academy

2. Gwinnett County Public Schools BYOD Policy/Plan
3. Google for my platform for my classroom because it is easily accessible on both
computers and Smartphones, it is collaborative, downloadable, saves automatically,
students are familiar with Google formatting and programs, and it is interactive with
Gmail.
4. Because Allgood Academy has a very small population, technology access is not an
issue. However, students who do not have their own technology may borrow devices
from the school Media Center. They also have Media Center access between the hours of
8AM and 8PM.
5. Students will generally have the option to work individually or with a partner on most
assignments, based on their interest. Most technology is somewhat compatible and by
using Google as the platform, students will be able to collaborate regardless of the
technology they are using.
