Byod implementation plan
1. BYOD/BYOT Implementation Plan for
11th Grade Math
Savannah Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) BYOT POLICY
The platform I will discuss is Google drive app. This app will be beneficial for my
students in my class as well as any other class where the teacher is tech savvy. I will show them
how they can submit assignments to me electronically, work on an assignment with others, and
the many other features google drive provides.
Accommodations: for students that do not have their own device, they will use the student
laptops or iPads that are provided by the school.
Grouping: For this, I prefer to put students in pairs. I want to keep the groups small to ensure
there is collaboration and all students are trying. Pairs will be decided depending on the feel of
the class. I could pair students by their devices or I could pair them by their learning abilities.
Every class is different thus the pairing choice is dependent on the make up of students.
2. Applications:
An app that will be beneficial for my students is wabbitemu for Androids and wabbitemu APK
for iphone. Year after year there tends to be a shortage of TI-83 calculators and some
students have no calculator to use for the test.
