The document discusses BYOD (bring your own device) policies and practices at Cook County Middle School. Students without devices will be partnered with students who have devices, such as Chromebooks provided by the school. When completing activities or assignments, students will usually work in partnered groups, but will work individually during tests or quizzes. The teacher plans to use various Google Apps and other educational apps on students' devices for 6th grade social studies instruction.

I currently work at Cook County Middle School and our county administrators are
in the process of developing a BYOT use agreement for our system.
3. Platform Used
I will be using the Google Apps mainly in my classroom. This is because our
school system uses Google Apps for everything around the school. Introducing
the students to its use will improve their abilities to use Google Apps
throughout their school years.
4. Students without devices & Grouping
Students without devices will be partnered with students that have devices. In
most cases we have enough Chromebooks on our team that students that do
not own technology can have it in their hands without stressing.
In most cases students will be partnered or in groups to complete activities or
assignments. In the event of a test or quiz students will work individually with
their own device.
