This document outlines a BYOD/BYOT implementation plan for a 6th grade social studies class. It will use Chrome and Google apps on the Gwinnett County Public Schools network. Students without devices can use Chromebooks or Kindle Fire tablets. Students will be grouped in different configurations depending on the activity, such as paired or groups of four around one device. Several recommended apps are provided to support social studies topics like history, geography, and economics that are appropriate for 6th grade level and available across platforms.

Groupingof students:
Studentswill be groupedinafewdifferentways dependingonhow the technologyistobe usedduring
a particularactivity.Forexample,If the activitycall forstudentstouse Google Earth,thenthe students
