Time: Track 1: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Workshop only
Track 2: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Workshop only (same as track 1 workshop)
Track 3: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Workshop - 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Make it & Take it Session(6 Act 48 Hrs)
Location: The Conference and Training Center at IU 13, 1020 New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601

Description: Discovery Education is so much more than a resource for videos! Come learn about the
exciting features of Discovery Education including but not limited to interactive Atlas, Board
Builder, Assignment Builder, Quiz Builder, Writing Prompt Builder, Assessment Manager, and
other resources. Participants have the option to select either Track 1, 2, or 3 and should
register on MyLearningPlan accordingly. Track 1 and Track 2 are identical sessions. If AM
participants want to attend the Make it & Take it Session, please register for track 3.
Audience: Technology Integrators/Media Specialist, Librarians/Teachers
Limit: Minimum: 10 Maximum: 25 for Track 1 and 25 for Track 2
Cost: No Cost for IU 13 IMS member’s districts/schools; $75.00 for non-members

Deadline: Monday, April 18, 2014 (Register per your district’s policy.)
In accordance with the recommendation of the Act 48 Advisory Council, individuals attending workshops/conferences must arrive on time and stay the duration of the workshop in order to receive Act 48
Professional Education Hours. Partial credit for Act 48 hours is NOT available. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual’s superintendent or IU director.
