Introduction
 Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field of science,
bioinformatics combines computer science, statistics,
mathematics, and biological sciences to study and
process biological data.
 Bioinformatics is conceptualizing biology in terms of
molecules and applying informatics techniques to
understand and organise the information associated
with these molecule, on a large scale.
