PURPOSE

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT (GENRE & PLOT ELEMENTS FEATURED)
I am going to produce a film poster campaign for a crime drama film as part of the promotional
material for the film Italian
The film Is about murder and history of 80’s/90’s gangsters' family, so I would like to stay in dark
colours and night life of those people,
Poster will be very mysterious, is not showing much to not spoil audience the ending, is building
vibe about the whole movie sense, and above a well-written script, additionally put on
atmospheric and artistic scenes, that we can see already in the posters as cut frames from movie.
OUTLINE OF STYLE
Vintage mood of criminal movie, with little bit of Italian aesthetic.
Every of those posters will show night or late day scenes, so there will not be a lot of visual
elements which can be seen because of dark scenery, the only important are characters and their
lives.
Landscape – photo of boy in suit posing in front of exterior location, which will be my shooting
location, location which I have chosen for poster fits with this genre Crime / Drama, because
location which are usually dark, contrasted in black and white, so my audience know what genre
my poster will be about.
2. POSTER CAMPAIGN PROPOSAL
Portrait which is portrait poster is photo of two characters, main male character in suit, lady has
cigarette in hand, connected by hair and this cigarette to pulp fiction poster, in dark coloristic
Colour of font will be wine Red, according to bloody red colour, because of genre
Last poster shows a scene from situation in front of a luxury place, at the outside, when the
female is sitting and thinking on restaurant window frame.
I would like to check how rain in postproduction will look like on last poster
Teaser – girl on road crossing. Suit creates feeling of representative elegant person, person on
photo is girlfriend of second main character. Street with white clean and tidy buildings makes nice
vintage feeling because of year of buildings.

More Males than Females, 15-35, interested in Crime Drama movies, who knows old movies,
because I would like to use some references to classics. People who travel metro and public
transport because posters will appear in those places. Movie can interest bigger audience
because of popular type of genre, interesting for younger and older audience.

There will be an female character with strong beliefs and impendence, to interest female an
audience, woman who is watching movie can appeal to that character, which makes it owns
marketing, while she will talk about that with friends
Main Character will be male person with Italian blood, old fashion person who is building his
empire from nothing. That can interest male audience. People are interested how someone is
getting success.
The Movie is based in 80/90s in USA /And Italy, also in Europe that targets also American as
European audience In Movie. We can also find some interesting, rare cars to talk about, fans of
motorsport will be satisfied.
DISTRIBUTION
Poster Is classic type of marketing, till this day companies those types of marketing to increase
interest. Not everyone is using social media 24/7, This form of marketing has a target on people
who spending time in city, especially older, when not every even middle edge person is using
Instagram or other type of social media to know about realising new movie by my company The
Photo needs to interest a people eye, can be even black and white, but if its real art, it will get
attention. Date of release Is important as tittle and picture; Poster is to inform about new movie
so needs to have some information's on it.
MARKETING - HOW & WHERE THE POSTERS WILL BE ADVERTISED
Classic type of marketing is newspaper also, in a lot of public places like metro, near to cinema,
theatres. Also, I would have some information about movie in radio, audience of movie is in
middle
Whispered promotion is the best way of movie marketing, especially if well-recognized, known, name will
talk about it. For example, in some show, or on some interview.
Main way to promote movie is and old fashion style of advertisement, for me as inventor of movie idea,
that suits perfect to type of movie we are promoting, crime drama movie on front pages of newspapers.
Advertisement in social medias, Instagram posts, and TikTok – following trends short video, of movie
poster can go viral and get bigger interest from audience. Twitter is also major place where posters should
be advertised, people can say what they think about it and share it, if more people will leave their
feedback in comment section, post will be more promoted.
POSITION IN THE MARKETPLACE
3 of my posters will fit into current marketplace and audience because of deep research witch I done, I
this moment there is not a lot of movies with that vibe. Will fit perfectly for niche which is insatiable
There is big interest in classic gangster movies, movies from this genre from few years ago now
have opinion of classic movies, and people are rewatching them for few times. This poster can be
promoted in internet on websites with movies. Posters can be also sold as home wall poster it
also creates money. Film Is fitted in to specific audience which is very wide. People in different
age are watching that type of movie. Referring to research Market is open for new productions.
