1. Group of friends go
into ‘The Forest’, a
place haunted with
cases of murder.They
enter with the
intentions of proving
the myth false.
2. They get lost in the forest,
night time comes and they
set up camp inside a cliff
face. They find an
abnormally large egg where
they intend to sleep.
3. They wake up
and find the egg
has cracked and
whatever inside
has escaped. They
find tracks in the
ground and follow
them.
4. Tracks lead them
to the monster,
which chases them
away from the
baby and splits
everyone up.
5. They regroup and find
the exit; they go to the
police and explain what
has happened.The police
don’t believe them; so
instead of trying to
disprove the myth like at
the start they end up
spending their lives trying
to prove it true.
Action – it has
various action scenes
throughout the
drama,and uses lots
of action themes.
Horror – Lots of times
where the characters
stumble; or get hurt,and
there are lots of jump
scares and the main
protagonist is a monster.
Thriller – Lots of
surprises and twists
throughout the film
and music to add
tension.
Lots of music used at
every sequence that
fits with each theme
of action, horror
thriller etc.
Old sequences with
the characters using
the police post
mortem interviews to
show how they died.
Each character has a every
distinct voice that
separates them from the
rest so you know exactly
who is talking at each
point.
Boys are the ones that
convince the girls to join them
in the forest. Both are really
flamboyant and arrogant, the
one gets really scared later on
in the drama which separates
them as different characters.
The girls are both reluctant
to join the boys but do so
anyway. One is very
stereotypically blonde one is
clever. They both dislike
each other but become
friends towards the end.
