2. Shot One: this shot shows the open book on the bedside
table, that the girl has read to herself as she fell asleep. This
shot helps to set the story as it shows that this book is very
important to the storyline, although at this point we are
unsure of how.
3. Shot Two: this shot shows how the girl has just
fallen to sleep, after reading the book and also
shows that we are about to enter into her dream.
4. Shot Three: she then finds herself in the woods
with a friend, she is cold and scared. They are
both unsure of how they got there and how they
are going to get out.
5. Shot Four: this shot is an establishing shot that
shows the outside of the woods as being calm
and peaceful, yet inside it is more evil and dark.
6. Shot Five: the two girls start seeing things that
they cannot make out what they are. This helps
to add to the tension and fear in the film.
7. Shot Six: they both notice the red cloak hanging
from the tree, and run towards it. One of the two
girls puts it on and begins to muck around
wearing it.
8. Shot Seven: as soon as she puts it on, noises
start to be heard such as dogs barking, wolves
howling. Close Up Shot shows her fear.
9. Shot Eight: after running around, they come
across an alleyway, which is seen as there only
way of escaping.
10. Shot Nine: the girl who wore the cloak wakes up,
and we as an audience become aware that it was
just a dream. Close Up on face to show fear, girl is
sweaty, breathing heavily.
11. Shot Ten: After waking up the girl goes downstairs. We
hear a scream and it cuts to the outside of the house.
The camera will then zoom in on a bin bag outside the
house, inside this bin bag is a ripped red cloak like the
one from her dream.
