represent particular social groups
2. Social Groups
• The social groups that my magazine targets are people who mainly
go to house music events, these are normally based at clubs or
festivals. This group of people are normally between the ages of 18
and 25, in this social group there will be mixed genders that all
enjoy the same music. I have represented this social group in my
magazine by picture of males and females dancing like they are at a
club listening to house music.
3. Male Representation
• The males in the social groups that beat magazine will attract are
normally seen as very chilled people, not seen as violent. They are
seen as happy and enjoy the music and other people who listen to
this type of music
4. Female Representation
• Females are also represented in a happy way, they enjoy going to
clubs with popular DJs and there is no divide between men and
women in this social group
