4. COVER PAGE
Both front covers are medium/close up shots of a male celebrity and male DJ,
the colours are very similar using black and red for the mast head. The cover
lines are tidy and surround the cover picture, they are easy to read and look
professional.
The issue info is under the masthead on both magazines.
5. CONTENTS
The contents pages are very similar with a large picture which is featured in an
article and a the main features to the left of the page. GQ magazine also has a
letter from the editor on its contents and a picture of the cover page.
6. TWO PAGE SPREAD
The two page spreads in each magazine are similar in some ways but a lot
different in others, for instance they both have a large picture taking up most of
the first page with some text underneath and on the next page a few smaller
images that are surrounded with text. GQ has a blue ribbon down the middle
which breaks up the text with other text relating to the story.
