WHY DO I LIKE DANCE MUSIC?
• It allows you to express yourself
• You can listen to it on social occasions
• It has an upbeat positive feeling to it which therefore makes you more positive
• It reminds you of festivals
DOES MY DATA SUPPORT MY
ASSUMPTION?
• Primarily younger teenagers and young adults who listen to dance music
• Listen to dance music a lot in the week
• Enjoy socializing
• Girls typically wear the most up to date fashion and clothes that relate to festivals
such as crop tops and off the shoulder tops, rip jeans ect…
• Boys typically wear the sports branded clothing such as Adidas or Nike
jumpers/shoes and tight jeans.
• Usually attend festivals not gigs.
• Use social networking sites.

freedom to browse all types of music but primarily belonging to one?
• What do you find rewarding about dance music?
• Do you think that dance music fans share similar interests outside of music?
• Do you think that dance music reflects your personality and if so, what is it?

“Because you can dance to it, it is fun.”
“I like the rhythm.”
“It get’s me in the mood, in the mood to dance, get out my sick moves, without beats
parties would be rubbish!”
