Accountant/Bookkeeper (River North)
FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE

        Accounts Payable Bookkeeper needed for established marketing and advertising startup.
        Estimated time: 12-25 hours / week – varies with experience

Job Summary:
     Create payment schedules for merchants in Excel and Google Docs
     Accurately enter bills into QuickBooks for our merchants, vendors, and partners
     Make timely payments and communicate with vendors as necessary
     Perform other related bookkeeping duties as required
     Perform daily bookkeeping/accounting functions
Minimum Requirements:
     Quickbooks and/or bookkeeping experience
     At least 1-2 years of experience in closely related field or college equivalent
     Proficient in Excel
Hours:
     At least two half days / week worked from our office in River North (specific days and times to be discussed).
        Remainder of hours can be worked remotely.
     Daily communication: email and phone communication to address questions as they arise
Other info:
     Compensation: varies, based on experience
     Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work with others. Take the initiative. Ideas on how to improve existing
        procedures are encouraged
     Sales, hospitality, entrepreneurial, and small business experience a plus
     Work in a very relaxed, yet results-driven environment with young, motivated professionals
