Been a Snell team programme since 2008
There are 5 cycles throughout the year including blocks for the production.
Happens in 4 week blocks happens 2 x per week on Tuesday & Thursdays.
At the beginning of each cycle a blurb will go home.
Year 6: Robotics, elite P.E, Visual Arts, Productions & Processes and Media Studies
Year 7 & 8 Careers, Food Technology, structures and Mechanisms, Visual Arts and
Mandarin.
• Everyone: Performing Arts- During term 3 when the production is on.
12. Communication / Parent involvement
• When it’s a good time to meet- after school is usually best (Wednesdays/Thursdays)

• School works on a policy of ‘no surprises’ so parents will be told early if there are

• 1 week’s excursion to Tongariro National Park

14. Absentees
• Being onto time to school is really important otherwise marked Late on the
electronic roll
• Please remember to the inform office when going away so it can be signed
off by the Principal so the absentee is recorded correctly
• If you are going away on holiday please send me/Diane Manners a
email/Letter stating when and where you will be going and for how long.
