4. Prompt Arrival Time:
Please ensure your child arrives before 8:45am.
This gives them time to prepare for the day and
settle in before the bell goes.
It gives me time to assist with homework.
This helps students become organised
and independent.
There will be different activities for the
students to do between 8.30am – 8.45am. These
will be on the smart board.
Expectations
5. School Uniform:
Children are expected to be in full uniform each day.

23. Birthdays
Birthdays are an important event in the lives of children
and I encourage celebration.
Some children like to bring a cake to class to share with
their friends, however, if possible please send cupcakes
as they are much easier to give out.
24. ThankYou!ParentHelp
There is an opportunity to participate in the Principal’s
Volunteer Reading program- Stay tuned!
If our class needs parent volunteers at any stage during
the year I will put a notice up on the class blog and
outside the classroom.
Please sign in at the front office when you are coming into
the classroom as a parent helper. This ensures our
administration is informed about exactly who is in the
school in case of an emergency. Parents who wish to help
in the classroom also need to complete a Statutory
Declaration form at the office each year.
25. It is very important that teachers and parents
work together as a team to create the best
possible outcomes for all students. Please
help us by following up on any notes and
homework that may have been given out.
It is also imperative that you feel comfortable
to communicate any concerns or queries to
me. I am available for meetings, by
appointment, after school, except for
Tuesday afternoons.
Our class blog contains many important
messages and information about our
class programs.
