Ever read a story that relates to your personal life? I just recently read the story Who Moved My
Cheese? , By Spencer Johnson. I'm not much of a reader, but this story really made me think. This
story makes you think about the way you live your life and how you deal with change in your life.
The author could have easily just given the message in a few paragraphs, but he gave the messages
in a story involving two mice and two little people stuck in a maze. They all are in search of
"cheese". The word cheese is another way of saying your goals in life and your security of how you

Eagle Scout Community Service Project
As a Boy Scout, and now Eagle Scout, community service has always been part of my life. Helping
people is always something I enjoy, so I've been helping my town since I was young with my troop.
We'd do things like build small bridges for lakeside walking paths and repainting the sides of old

The village that I live in is called MerricK . Merrick is a hamlet in Nassau County, Long Island on
the South Shore. This village is 35 miles from New York and one expressway exit from Jones
Beach. The name "Merrick" is taken from Meroke, the name (meaning peaceful) of the Algonquian

The houses in South Merrick are selling for close to a million dollars or more because the close
proximity to the water opposed to the houses sold in North Merrick which are selling in 500'. The

According to participants shared experience, I got the notion that children go to parents' will to let

Introduction Large yellow school busses lining the streets, school parking lots filled with employee
cars, and students walking to school with loaded backpacks; all signs that school is in session. With
the excitement of motivated students filling the classrooms and sounds of young chatter in the
hallways, it is almost impossible to think that anything could go wrong during the school year.
However, in no time, a student is on the ground with a large gash down their leg and a broken arm.
It was not clumsiness or mischief, it was the uneven blacktop that has been cracked for the past four
years. This scenario could be an occurrence at many sites, however, with proper procedure, and

Lakeside's counselors have voiced they often have more caseloads then they can manage. With only
6 school guidance counselors, the student to counselor ratio is about 300 students to 1 counselor.
CHS counselors are regularly left to take care of changes in student's curriculum, college
preparation, addressing those with absences or when fights break out, not those who may warrant
additional counseling. Priorities such as time and support are not there for those who may not need
the intensity of the Lakeside support counselors but rather a connection and an awareness of the
potential concerns.
Another theme that is prominent at CHS is stigma. The Lakeside's counselors shared that they
experienced much difficulty in having their students keep appointments due to the stigma involved
with mental health. The school nurse has also expressed that she often sees students that may exhibit
symptoms of anxiety, depression, or ADHD that have gone unnoticed or not made a priority. She
also mentioned that if everyone used the same language then students can have a connection or
build a connection with someone that they trust, "having everyone on board would help offer a

This is my point what if you see someone else getting bullied what should you do my guess is that

My Grandmother Symbolism
My Symbol of Success
Growing up, my grandmother always said "failure is a bruise not a tattoo". Joy was born on June 4,
1950 and worked hard every day. My Grandmother is a symbol of everything I could ever dream of
being. She represents strength, perseverance, and kindness.
My grandmother had to exhibit strength her entire life. When she was a little girl her family was
very poor. She had to walk almost two miles to school and back every day. Her family could only
afford to buy her one school dress that she wore back and forth to school every day. Joy's parents
struggled to put food on the table. Her mother was a book keeper and her father was a delivery
worker for Bordens Dairy. Unfortunately, at the early age of 16, her parents were killed in a fatal car
accident leaving her and her six brothers and sisters orphaned. My grandmother was forced to drop
out of high school to make a living for her siblings. She was hired as a full–time cashier at Lakeside
Grocer. Somehow, she scraped enough money up to buy an old, beat up, town car to ensure her
siblings got a proper education and had a reliable way to get to school. At the age of nineteen, she
was walking down the isle to marry a police officer who promised to support her and her siblings.
Things went south quickly and the relationship soon became toxic. The man she had married
constantly beat her and cheated on her. After my dad was born, the divorce papers were signed and

During the first year, the program coordinator would administer the pre–assessment and gather
results. Those results would then be presented at the first DRS meeting along with the common
assessment data from Illuminate provided by the math and language arts teachers. Throughout the
rest of the year, in six week interval during DRS; common assessment data would be analyzed to
monitor THINK Together student growth. Twice a trimester, the administrative team would
document GPA's in student progress reports and report cards, and report findings during DRS
meetings. Lastly, at the end of the year, the site coordinator would conduct a post–assessment, and
come together as a program evaluation team to share data results. The same process would repeat
itself year after year to monitor the programs influence on academic achievement. To evaluate

It eventually turned into a huge glitter fight between me and Kenzie Edwards. After the class was
over, all of us kids were walking around the school in a single file line looking for the principal

School at St. Catherine began in preschool. When I was in preschool my best friends were Shelby

A. Rural public schools are able to implement individualized instruction programs to their schools,
which allow students to have more one on one attention from their teacher.

Three years ago, I got my first real job. At fifteen years old, I was a residential site staff,
