1. Expectations as an e-Learner
in the ICT Computer Suite at
Edgecumbe Primary
I will:
1. Always follow my teacher’s directions for using computers, equipment
and the Internet.
2. Be responsible and respectful when using computers, equipment and
the Internet.
3. Use the Internet for school purposes only.
4. Make sure that the websites I access are educational.
5. Let my teacher know if I have any doubts about the appropriateness of
a website.
6. Ask for help if I am unsure about how to use computers or equipment.
7. Not give out any personal information (name, age, address and phone
numbers) about myself or others on the Internet.
8. Not share my login, passwords or files with others.
9. Not copy, alter, install or download files or software from the Internet or
access someone else’s files on school computers unless I have permis-
sion from my teacher.
10. Make sure that the language I use and any communication I make
with classmates or others on the Internet is respectful and responsible.
