The lab aimed to determine certain food properties and attributes of two hummus samples through
descriptive analysis. Texture, thickness, oiliness, saltiness, garlic flavour and flavour intensity of the
hummus samples were studied to further discover the sensory data. Materials and Methods Two
hummus samples were used as testing samples. 16 panelists were involved in the hummus sample
testing. Panelists need to give scores from 0 to 100 for the hummus texture (0 represented Smooth
and 100 was Grainy) and thickness (0 meant Runny and 100 was Thick) attribute, from 1 to 9 for the

PIDGINS IN SUDIAARABIA Pidgin could be defined as a language that results from two different
people who are not able to speak a each other language so they can interact with and understand
each other.
This is situation can be a result of different circumstances like war, colonization, slavery and
international trade.
Some definitions of pidgins although are pidgins have no static definitions : Ferguson (1971) refers
to pidgins and creoles as simplified speech used to communicate with people who are considered
unable to understand normal speech, such as babies or foreigners. One of the essential points that
should be clarified in this context is the link between the term pidgins. This linguistic variety is used
in the contact between two speech communities from two different linguistic backgrounds (Al–
Azraqi 2010; Al–Moaily, 2008).Bresnan and Roberts (2008:272) state that pidgins 'develop as
auxiliary languages and thus lack native communities, at least initially'.
Although the contact is between two languages, the vocabulary of a pidgin comes particularly from
one dominant language called the 'lexifier' or 'superstrate', while the non–dominant language is

I, J.L., must confess that I have become a full–fledged foodie. I mean, when you're subscribed to
numerous YouTube channels and have a folder with bookmarked recipes it's time to admit the fact.
And what better way to celebrate it then with a recipe.
The recipe was inspired from Fit Man Cook's quesadilla. I decided to take it one step further and add
spinach and black olives with tzatziki sauce on the side.
I will freely admit I'm not a chef and I had to estimate how much of each ingredient I put in my
quesadilla so feel free to adjust where you see fit.

The concert took place in St. Joseph church on Mono Street. After the orchestra tuned all their
instruments, the conductor, Garo Avessian, came to the podium. The first piece played was
"Overture to Ruslan and Ludmilla" by M. Glinka, The Overture opens with a fast tempo and
dynamic rhythm which leads to crescendo at moments. There follows a strong, joyous theme that
leaps about with seemingly unbounded energy. Although, this theme, has a complete opposite mood
compared to the original theme, it complements it. After this, a smooth, warm theme is played by
the cellos, which to me was the highlight of the whole piece. What caught my attention, was that the
last theme played was the recapitulation of the original them (sonata form). To me, the conductor
and orchestra, completely understood each other and worked in harmony, mastering an already

What's a unique about this piece is that it was never played before, and it is completely different
compared to the other pieces played. It starts off with drums interspersed with the flute, which
contained elements from both eastern and western styles. Tala then starts playing the piano and at
the same time makes noises with her mouth, which was theatrical and at the same time unorthodox.

Many people regard hummus as the most representative Middle Eastern food. But I have never eaten
hummus since I left the Middle East last year. There are several reasons for not having it either in
China or in America. It is hard to find hummus in China. People in my area barely know what
hummus is, or even chickpeas. After I came back to the US from China, I was able to purchase the
hummus in plastic containers in grocery stores, but I didn't buy any. When I saw the hummus here in
the US, I lost my desire to buy and eat because it is hard for me to relate the fresh made hummus to
the ones here sitting in the fridge.

Personal Narrative: My Autobiography At San Diego Beach
I am likely the only applicant to save a random child from falling off a cliff at a San Diego beach. In
2014 my family and I went to San Diego to visit my mom's side of the family during Labor Day
