2. Who is my audience?
• Obviously people who generally enjoy mafia/gangster
films will be interested in my final product. And lets not
bypass general film lovers as my film will hopefully be
up there with the greats!
• Male dominated target audience, however certain
females will still be interested
• Because of the violence and the bad language it would
have to be rated at 15 so therefore my audience would
have to be over 15, unless the opening two minutes is
just shown, for which case it could be set under 12 as
there is no swearing or real violence
3. What will I need to do to attract my
audience?
• I will need a large amount of suspense or something
fast paces to lure the viewer in. Especially at teenager
age, as this will be the time they want to see fats paced
adrenaline filled films. The characters in the opening
scene also need to be relatable to the audience, so
they can feel a larger connection, so a teenager will be
a good person to use as that is a large proportion of my
target audience. I will also want a man around the age
of forty as this will relate to my older audience. I
female would be good as well (preferably an attractive
supermodel) as this will make the women want to be
her and the men want to be with her, not to mention
the filming will be far more interesting.
