Chernihiv State Technological University is a university located in Chernihiv, Ukraine founded in 1960. It has 7 faculties with over 40 departments and 10000 students. The university focuses on mechanical technology, electronic and information technologies, economics, and management. It offers bachelor's, master's and PhD programs both full-time and part-time. Some of the university's research includes developing technologies for vacuum welding semiconductor sensors onto nuclear reactors, chemical and thermal hardening of machine parts, and embedded systems. 15. ENERGY SAVING LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS
(jointly with NASU)
Fields of application:
light industrial areas, warehouses and commercial premises;
Domestic (decorative) lighting.
Advantages over traditional lighting systems:
energy savings (2-fold compared with fluorescent lamps and 3-4 times - with
incandescent bulbs);
long life - up to 100,000 hours, i.e. 11.5 years, provided continuous
work, which is 100 times longer than incandescent bulbs and 50 times longer
halogen lamp;
minimal operating expenses, which is principally in the placement
lighting in remote locations;
compactness, ease of installation;
Operating Temperature: (- 40 - 120) C;
no infrared and ultraviolet radiation, do not contain mercury.

Anticorrosive protection of structural steel, when used in corrosive
liquids.
Produced from waste vegetable oil.
Scope: circulating cooling system in technological cycles, acid etching
baths
Protection level is 92-99% in neutral and acidic media at room and
elevated (up to 60 deg. C) temperatures in steady and dynamic modes.
