5. Waterborne diseases are caused by contaminated
water. Various forms of waterborne diarrheal
disease possibly are the most prominent
examples, and affect mainly children. According
to the World Health Organization, estimates that
58% of that burden, or 842,000 deaths per year.
6. It is necessary to focus on the inhibition of
waterborne diseases by preparing the water
and making it fit for human drinking. Water
borne diseases are infectious . Prevention of
waterborne diseases requires proper
sanitation.
7. The main reason behind our research is not only to
prevent water born disease but also to find the
practical ways to avoid germs. In order to be aware
with the ways to avoid water borne diseases, it is
essential first to know how poison takes place.
Water borne diseases can spread through other means
such as foods, clothes, hands, materials used for
eating, cooking and drinking. Extreme germs can
enter the body through open eyes and nose as well.
Typhoid fever, diarrhea, hepatitis, and polio are some
of the widespread water borne diseases.

are the solutions for waterborne disease.
2-To find out the causes of waterborne disease.
3-To save the lives of people.
4-To aware people about waterborne diseases and insure

9. Pakistan’s rank in maintaining water quality
standards is 80th out of 122 nations. (World Water
Development Report). It is estimated that around 40
per cent of all reported diseases in Pakistan are
attributed to drinking polluted water.
The number of people suffering from water borne
diseases are on the rise among the population of
village Gulmit, Gojal under skin infections and
typhoid cases.
10. Lack of proper sanitation system.
Lack of awareness to particular solutions for waterborne
disease.
Lack of resources and facilities for the people.
Lack of water filtration plants in villages/cities.
11. People will become aware about how to drink safe water
after this research.
People to get aware about solutions and then they
would convey to others.
All the misconceptions about the direct use of water will
be removed after this research.

14. In Gilgit Baltistan most of the people prefer to use
direct water for preparing their food items and drink.
So, a social promotion campaign is to be planned to
make the system sustainable.
15. Drink only filtered/bottled water. Wash hands properly before
eating. Wash the containers regularly. Avoid consuming foods,
fruit juices, and milkshakes from roadside sellers. Always keep
foods and drinks closed. It is best to buy bottled water or carry
your own water..
