2. One aspect, which I really liked about
E.T’s blog is their magazine cover, I
was fascinated by the process, which
they went through in order to make
their magazine cover.
As you can see by their editing process
it took them a while to finalise their
chosen theme for their magazine
cover, which I think it worked well for
them.
3. I think the use of wide-shot worked really well with girl running down the
alleyway because it creates this sense of isolation, which then reflects to the
audiences.
Again the use of long-shot creates that sense of isolation and it gets the audience
wondering why she is all alone or if she is in danger.
By looking at E.T’s blog, it has given me several ideas toward our teaser trailer
and how Pooja and I can show a isolation with simple camera shot.
4. Within their trailer I have noticed that they have used several title cards
to create tension, which I personally think worked very well.
5. Cross
Looking at the stages they went through to creates their poster has given me
Rough idea of how our poster should look and characters it should have. For instance
In E.T’s blog they started with a normal realistic image, but with their final poster
There is a cross in the eye and everything around the eye is black and white.
6. To an extent I was able to find certain post
through their blog archive, however since they
do not have labels for their posts it would be
difficult for someone who is not a media
student to find particular post.
