Where did I get my ideas from for my
ancillary work?

2. Advertisement ideas: the layout
I used the layout from this ancillary project because it was very creative. I
liked the use of bold and clear text against the natural picture. The
reviews were well presented & clear advertising such as iTunes and HMV
was used. However, unlike this one, I won’t use a wonky picture of the
album.

3. Album title
I liked the use of Tulisa’s album name here. It is simple and has a
bold outline but her name is much more bolder, but not too
overpowering. It’s simple and keeps is easy to read too. I will do
the same or similar and keep both the album name and artist
name BOLD but the artist name will always be bigger.

4. Use of bold colours and logo for artist
I might use the black and white filter with the picture of our
artist and then highlight the lips and bandanna (synerygy items)
because they are red. I also like the distinct logo the artist has
for their name which could be very creative and make our artist
different and memorable.

5. Font ideas – Cher Lloyd’s album
This font is so stylish and suits the genre as well. I am not
sure if I am going to use it yet but it’s definitely a good
font because it’s clear, different and can be manipulated
nicely with colours.
