1. SELECTION OF VEGETABLE SOYBEAN AND DEVELOPMENT
OF YEAR-ROUND PRODUCTION SYSTEM IN KOREA

2. Purpose Of The Research
This research was conducted
to select the nine varieties of
soybeans from japan and to
know the exact time and
location of such varieties that
grow well in korea, field trial
conducted in iksan, Chonbuk
province, Korea 1993-1996.

3. Method of The Research
The method planting density of
30x20 cm with two plants per hill.
Fertilizer was applied before
planting as 40-70-60 kg / ha N,
P2O5, K2O, respectively. Two
vegetable soybean japanese
varieties, dongya and fukura, were
cultivated in four different
culturing patterns; plastic film
house culture, plastic film tunnel,
field and retarding culture of
plastic
film house.

4. Conclusion Of The Research
The results In plastic films
condiction
house, the planting that of february
15 for vegetable soybean production
was better than of march 15 on the
basis of growth and yield of green
pods
produced. there ratios of pods having
to
2 and 3 kernels in a pod were 71.2%
and
67.4% in baeksaja and
seokryangputkong, respectively. In
plastic films and field tunell culture
condition, april 15 was the best. As a
result, the mid-april was suitable
sowing
