Start Unit 4, 5 & 62 – Assignment Two
Task 1
Gant Chart – The Gant chart involves everything I need to do within the assignment. By having a
Gant Chart I can work out exactly how long it will take to create a video and edit it within all the right
way that I need too.
Schedule – Having a Schedule will give me an insight into what each task involves with a detailed
view on each task.
Risk Assessment – The risk assessment form will be very detailed in the fact that I have to make sure
I have covered every element of safety. This is simple things from fire exits to if cables are covered
and not a tripping hazard.
Task 2
Research–Identify the target audience, look at other colleges in the area and compare them to
Cheadle College. Also look into gender research, age, and lifestyle.
Primary Content Research – Create interviews and Questionnaires that I can then get a varied
amount of feedback that I can then put into tables and charts and look at all the results so I am
better informed.
Planning – When it comes to planning I need to do all the necessary parts to the planning process.
These involve Brainstorming, storyboards, sketches, mood boards and create a script for any
interviews I may be doing.
Task 3
Proposal – Creating a proposal with the team to make sure we include all the initial and important
parts to the video. We will need to include all about personnel, cast and crew, target audience,
content and resources etc.
Pitch – The pitch is how we tell our client what is going on. We will need to make a pitch as they will
need to be fully involved at all times. To make a pitch we could use anything such as PowerPoint,
projector, video or through multiple presentations.
Task 4
Production Meeting–Having a production meeting will be when the client has accepted our
proposal. We will need to create a short report which will outline the changes made and what has
been agreed.

Video Assets – I will need to assess the video assets I use in the video. These things will include what
I am going to use, such as interviews with either tutors or students, I will also have to take into
account whether I have a broadcast or peers included.
Task 6
Shoot Video – When it comes to shooting the video I need to take into account all the aspects I have
made clear on my proposal. I will need the basic equipment such as a camera etc. to shoot the video.
Start Unit 4, 5,& 62 – Assignment 3
Task 1
Import Video with Diary – The video diary is important to have to show you the process we went
through in order to create the video. The diary will include everything even all the editing and other
methods we may use.
Task 2
Edit Video – Editing the video will take full concentration as I will be filming my video in different
snippets, when this is completed I will then need to connect each snippet together to create a video
but this will need to be done to a professional quality.
Task 3
Export Video – Export the video means we will have to export it into a viewable file format that will
be easily viewed by any peer.
Gather Feedback – Gathering feedback will involve handing out questionnaires for all the viewers to
fill out. With these we will take in any negative feedback and also log everything they have said. We
will also convert all the results into a chart to give a graphical view for everyone to see.
Create a Report – This report will be included in the feedback logging everything the user has stated.
Task 4
Create a Questionnaire–Creating a questionnaire is exactly like what I have stated above. If I do this
task within task 3 I will be able to have longer on the main project meeting within task 4.
End of Project Meeting with Client – This is where we discuss with the client the entire process we
have been through and hand over the finish product.
Task 5
Evaluation – The evaluation will be important to log everything we do throughout the project.
Anything we struggle with we put into the evaluation and also if there are any problems that we
couldn’t figure out from our proposal we also need to state in the evaluation the reason we found it
difficult.
