With this still shot I have taken you can see that the main shot is taken from a far distance away. I
chose to take this within the shadows as the main building stands out from everything else with the
sunlight. I feel that the camera focus is of a good quality showing all the correct different parts to the
image. By also having a nice blue sky within the image I managed to capture the college on a good
day with weather. The weather can change an image as when the weather is dull images and
building don’t stand out as much.

We began by zooming into the college sign at the beginning of the video. We used the angle shot
from our main height looking up at the sign. The reason we did this is because we wanted to make
the beginning look like you’re a student yourself walking into college. Also the video is about
Cheadle Camus so ensuring we have the Cheadle campus sign in the video was essential. As you can
see from around the image the weather is looking rather dull. The main focus of this shot was the
college sign so in some cases having a dull day meant the fewer glares that may appear on the sign
from sunlight at certain times of the day that we chose to film. The scene included viewing the sign
from a distance and then slowly zooming in before zooming out and walking into the college.

In this particular still shot we have taken within the college library we are showing some of the many
main books that are used within the Creative Media/ICT Department. I chose to take the shot in this
angle as it shows a lot more depth of the books and thickness from a straight on shot of the book
spines. Also with the angled shot you are allowing a lot more books to be viewed in the picture. I feel
the camera focus also has been a success as you can read the titles clearly.

When it came to the walk into college scene we had no other choice but to carry the camera
ourselves. We felt that the footage could have been improved as the camera bounces a lot and
angles change. As you can see we have begun walking into college on a fairly neutral day in sight of
the weather so the shot was clear showing all the main features such as the wide variety of parking
spaces in the car park and the main building leading up to reception. In this screenshot I have taken
from the main running clip the picture is slightly blurry as I paused a moving camera scene. The focus
and main quality of the camera is very good and allows the viewer to see clear and concise features.
