1. 6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

2. Blog. I feel that i have learnt a lot through out the whole year, when first introduced into blogging i wasn't very keen on the idea because i had never used it before, but after a while and i had used it a bit more it was a very good way of documenting work that we have done which is excellent. Putting pictures on to a blog is made very easy with the import button when blogging, so you just save the picture into your area then you just import the picture when blogging, embedding videos and putting slideshare onto the blog was made just as easy, on slide share after you've created the slide you get given the embed code of the website which is very helpful, the you put the embed code in the Edit HTML section on the edit page of blogger, you do this with the video except you have to upload the video to YouTube and this was another skill i had learnt now being able to upload to YouTube.

3. Camera skills Camera skills' feel my camera skills have improved greatly since doing media in GCSE i had a much more involving role in camera work in this production and i now know all of these angles, movements and shots and i can quite easily do them, the ones i have learnt are shown below. If our media film could have been longer than two minutes i could have performed many more of these angles and shots to make sure my media production can be as good as it can, since the start of the year iv learnt many more than i already knew coming from year 11 media into year 12.

Commentary For one of our evaluation questions we actually perform commentary, the way me and my partner did this was completely new way to me, but commentary has interested me for a long time and i have wanted to persuade commentary as a hobbies of mine. So this has given me a great skill that i can know use out side of media studies. The way me and my partner did this is by downloading 'Skype' were you can have free 1v1 chats with your friends and then i downloaded a programme called 'EasyVoipRecorder' then whilst in a conversation on Skype you hit the record button and it records both of your voices with i thought was brilliant, this made our commentary very easy and it went with no problems either which was great! The tricky part was then putting our commentary over our video, to do this we needed to download 'Sony Vegas' this is a editing programme that let beginners become accustom to editing, it helped us a lot by showing us we only had to drop the audio of our main production and increase the sound of our commentary.

5. Overall. Overall i have learnt that technology is very good for doing media studies, it helps you out a lot through the whole year, you also learn great skills in media studies ,ones that if you didn't take the course you may not have had to opportunity to learn e.g. Blogger, Camera skills (Angles, Movement, Shots.), Commentary, Editing.
