WORK EXPERIENCE
Quality Control Inspector – PIC, A TRIGO Company – Ontario, Canada – March 18 - May 19
• Inspected the automotive parts as a third-party quality inspector at automotive companies including FCA Windsor
Assembly Plant
• Enhanced the skill of time management and process planning by achieving 98.5% targets in validating and inspecting
automotive parts on an average daily basis
• Achieved 100% defect elimination by removing all parts with defects using defect reduction and elimination
techniques with the help of blueprints and specifications in each manufactured lot.
• Inspected, tested and measured various automotive parts to meet design and quality requirements of the
organization
Junior Mechanical Engineer – Cryogenic Liquide Private Limited - Gujarat, India – June 16 - Nov 17
• Successfully managed critical projects incl. Air Eliminators, Basket Strainers, Air Receiver, Prover Tank etc. with a track
record of manufacturing and dispatching 150-160 equipment every month based on ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Coordinated with manufacturing and designing team to integrate manufacturability and reliability into mechanical
designs using existing tooling and developing new tools and fixtures
• Designed Air Eliminators, Basket Strainers, Air Receiver, and Prover Tank using SolidWorks and AutoCAD with
required dimensioning and tolerancing
• Managed and Supervised 40-50 unionized shop floor workers in welding and machining department
• Achieved 6% defect and 92% yield using Lean and TPM concepts
• Participated in continuous improvement programs; adhered to six sigma and lean manufacturing programs
Engineering Intern (Co-Op), Mechanical – NHB Ball & Roller Limited. – Gujarat, India – Jan 16 - June 16
• Designed high precision balls for bearing, hub wheel bearing, CV joints, and water pump using SolidWorks and carried
out the stress, strain and displacement analysis by generating fine mesh
• Executed different processes like annealing, wire drawing, heading, flashing, grinding, lapping, quality control and
inspection of high precision balls used for over 1000 applications, hub wheel bearing, CV Joints, water pump bearing
on daily basis
• Applied lean tools and successfully reduced 6 seconds of total cycle time in for production line of hub wheel bearing
• Hands on experience in gauging of balls for bearings and quality control of the finished product using Lean and TPM
concepts
2. PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
Process Engineer - Cycle Time Improvement in Door Modules Assembly - Magna Windsor Modules, Windsor, ON - Jul 18
• Performed the time study at various locations in the company, studied the plant layout, and rectified the areas of
improvement
• Carried out the MODAPTS and FMEA study and designed the VSM (Value Stream Mapping)
• Eliminated Non-Value-Added activities such as motion waste, and carrier flipping resulting in overall cycle time
reduction
• Executed line balancing and suggested the management to reduce 1 worker from the workforce of 7 workers by
transferring rectified activities from sub assembly to main assembly eventually resulting in reduction of 12.5% of cycle
time
• Successfully reduced 8 seconds of overall cycle time with the use of Lean Manufacturing tools (Six Sigma, 8D problem
solving, 5S, 5WHY, Kaizen)
Team Leader - Six Cylinder Radial Engine (Full Assembly in SolidWorks) – Nov 18 - Dec 18
• Encouraged and supervised group of 4 people
• Assigned the task of modelling of different parts to each team member in SolidWorks software
• Carried out the modelling of full radial engine assembly
• Executed the stress, strain, and displacement analysis of piston head by generating the mesh
